Biogen Methodology Study (“Methodology Study of Novel Electrophysiological, Physical, and Imaging Outcome Measures to Assess the Progression of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis”)
This study aims to determine the best way to measure deterioration in patients with ALS. Most studies currently use either survival or deterioration on a scale that measures patient functioning (ALS-FRS-R) as an endpoint. However, both parameters have important limitations. This study seeks to validate new valuable parameters of disease progression for use in clinical trials.
