Encourage and fund scientific research into ALS through our research fund A Cure for ALS.
- Inform patients, family members and third parties about ALS disease through website, ALS League magazine, social media.
- Striving for customised care and care: PAB/PVB, RIZIV convention, home care(liaison) and the care home ‘Middelpunt’ (MaMuze).
- Advocating for the rights of ALS patients with various agencies and the government.
- Raising funds to best help and support ALS patients.
- Provide free tools for communication and mobility (ALS Mobility & Digitalk asbl).
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and their families after diagnosis.
- Raising publicawareness.
- Maintain close ties with foreign organisations to gather and exchange information.
- Organising contact moments symposia at national and international level.
As ethical fundraisers, we have a duty to place the monies we collect from the public for a particular purpose into the designated fund. By doing so, we guarantee our donors the proper destination of their financial support. Our four pillars are : scientific research on ALS(A cure for ALS), MaMuze fund (Middelpunt), resources (ALS M&D) and the general operation of ALS League.
