“A cure for ALS” is het onderzoekfonds van de ALS Liga België. Giften aan dit fonds worden integraal besteed aan wetenschappelijk onderzoek, zonder dat er administratieve kosten worden aangerekend bij het doneren. Er zijn op elk moment meerdere onderzoeken die de ALS Liga behartigt. Donaties worden verzameld in een centraal fonds en de ALS Liga beslist welk project er op dat moment gesponsord wordt. De werking is gericht en transparant: de opzet, het doel, de kosten en de specifieke verwachtingen per project worden gedetailleerd beschreven op de website van de ALS Liga.
