Worldwide research
We continuously receive large quantities of information on ALS through a variety of international channels. This information is usually in English. The most important developments are translated into Dutch for you through the efforts of our volunteers. In this category, we would like to offer you additional English-language sources of ALS research which our team cannot translate due to the large workload.
The American ALS Association offers live access to presentations with the opportunity to ask the researcher questions. These are organized every month and can be attended in the evenings, Belgian time (usually between 10 and 11 p.m., to be verified for every lecture). Registration and the procedure for participation are user friendly and safe. Questions can be asked via chat, directed at the moderator, Prof. Lucie Bruijn.

ALSUntangled helps patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to look into alternative and unapproved ALS treatments. Usage instructions for ALSUntangled, as well as published and active research can all be found on the website. If you know of any alternative medication or therapy, report it here and inform the league as well.
